Microsoft Users

The Microsoft Users toolkit connects Arcade to the Microsoft Graph API, enabling LLMs to query user profiles and organizational hierarchy for Microsoft 365 work and school accounts.

Capabilities

• Profile lookup: Resolve one or more users by email address, UPN, or user ID; retrieve enriched data including job title, department, and office location — with automatic single vs. batch API optimization.
• Current user identity: Fetch the authenticated user's own profile, including name, email, job title, department, office location, and tenant domain.
• Org hierarchy traversal: Retrieve a user's direct manager or their full list of direct reports (paginated, includes organizational contacts).

Note: All tools require a Microsoft 365 work or school account. Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com) are not supported.

OAuth

Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0 through the Microsoft provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for configuration details.
